Hello! We recently purchased a 2006 (I know, oldie but a goodie) Lexus GX470. It's been wonderful ... other than the fact that it did not come with the DVD player remote. Now, we have an error message that requires said remote to watch a movie. This remote has been discontinued, and of course, models are going from $100-$200 on used sites. Anyone have advice on where to find a cheaper one? I don't know if there's a Universal remote out there that would work? I feel like paying $200 for a remote controller is crazy ... it'd be almost cheaper to buy a whole new system.
