Netwrks1,
I just got back from Vaction, sorry, I wasn't able to reply back to you earlier. The URL I sent you is 3rd party from Curt Mfg. it WILL sit under the bumper and will NOT be flush like you wanted. However, the unit the Civic Ferio is offering looks like it will do the TRICK!!!
Wish I had this link three (4) months ago, before I bought my Curt!!!
No worries though, I've gotten used to my "UNDER" the bumper hitch, and it makes the GX look move "sporty"...

I looks a little like the one you in the pic above. But it mounts to the frame rail with 4 bolts on each side. And in the center with 4 bolts to the bracket that came with towing option with out the ball mount. It has a decal on it that says 6500lbs.

My local dealer quoted me 3 hours of labor, and by the looks of this it shouldn't take nearly that long. Unfortunately, it didn't come with any installation instructions, and I don't want to take any chances of doing something incorrectly with this. Does anyone have or know where I can find installation instructions for this hitch?
By the way, my local dealer wanted $340 for this hitch. I picked it up from Bell Lexus (Phoenix, AZ) for $278.80 plus shipping.

I found a good install manual (couldn't attach due to file size limit).
Thanks,

GX470 hitch wiring harness needed
Hello, I've attached a diagram of my hitch that's installed (Hidden Hitch) on the back of my '03 GX470.
I'm trying to set up an electrical connection and by reading the threads on this site, I understand what I need to do but...when it comes to the electrical connection, I need a mount or bracket to hold the wire harness connector. How do I go about getting a proper bracket to connect to the fork that's on the left side of the hitch.
I've circled what I'm talking about on the diagram.
Let me know...

Factory Installed Hitch
I had the factory 6500 lbs (I think) hitch installed on my '05. It looks different than those pictured in this thread. Is this a new version of the 6500 lbs hitch (I am looking at the hoops where you attach the trailer chains - they are different than the others pictured).
May be a nit - but I thought I'd ask.
