Rear brake caliper torque values
I cannot seem to find any detail regarding rear brake torque values for the rear brake caliper 17 mm bolts that secure the piston and carrier framework. Can anyone provide the specific torques values on this assembly? Thanks all...

I happen to have a service manual for a 5th gen 4Runner on my desktop, it shows the "rear disc brake cylinder mounting bolts" take 77ft/lb, and the "rear disc brake cylinder X Rear disc brake cylinder mounting" takes 65ft/lb. I'm not sure which bolt you're working on, but one of these should be what you're after.
The 120 and 150 platforms are similar enough the torque specs should be the same.

Much appreciated Ian. Not sure which spec applies to which of the 4 bolts, as the manual mentions "cylinder" on both specs. On the GX470 rear brakes, there is the piston "cylinder" assembly that sits on top of the brake pad carrier assembly, as 2 separate, though combined components. Since all 4 bolts are 17mm, I guess I'll split the difference between the 65 and 77 torque values. Thanks again.
