Don't get your hopes up. Even RA sends wrong stuff on occasion and have no clue when you call them.

I am continually amazed how that comment rings true for so many suppliers today! Not only do they not understand the product they sell but too often they do not know what the application is!

Next time, get the Arnott bags. They don't even use the over-shroud. When I called Arnott support to ask about the shroud, they said their air bags are made from same materials and construction as their items used on heavy trucking, and are made to take a beating, so no shroud is needed.

Autoshack sold the wrong pair, likely because on their site they say their SKU: # KASA3951 is for "Driver or Passenger side". That is obviously wrong.
You buy the "PR" sku and they toss in two SKU: # KASA3951

Everything you say is 100%!

Arnott was the way I was going to go first kick at this! Reviews were good and the price point was good as well.

The Autoshack purchase came about when I saw so many of these air springs, that looked identical, coming from a large number of suppliers under their banner!

Unfortunately, whoever filled the order did not do it correctly, and now I am trying to get it corrected...

Definitely, a lesson learned!

Meanwhile, the GX470 continues to impress me. Had it for a year and everything about it is great! The leak I am experiencing in the air spring suspension is minor but will need to be fixed before winter.

Appreciate the dialogue from all.

Default And the end of the story is.........

So after 18 days of texts back and forth with AutoShack and nothing getting done I called customer service at Amazon (purchased through their site).

Explained to an Amazon representative about ending up with two LEFT (inlet valve direction) air springs and felt that if AutoShack could not provide me with a RIGHT (inlet valve direction) I should get a refund!

They sent a text to AutoShack to which they replied that they would allow the return of the incorrect spring for a refund! I replied that would not work unless they could sell me a RIGHT air spring (inlet facing RIGHT).

Next text they agreed to provide a full refund.

Just ordered the Arnott A-2949 set from RA.

I am pretty sure that the air spring you are looking at is identical to the ones I got from Autoshack as well as a number of other suppliers.

May be stepping out on a limb but they are all probably made by the same Chinese company!

Having said that from what I have heard the air springs do work but you must get one that is valve RIGHT and one that is valve LEFT.

For the price shown in the advert, you could go to Arnott A-2949, which is a proven product.

Just my thoughts.

The A-2949 air springs arrived yesterday. Even the packing material is high-end compared to Autoshack.

The air springs are built with a METAL swivel inlet which is free to move 360 degrees. No need for a RIGHT or LEFT...

Very well made.
