see the thread titled "Ugh" on this board. It seems that the camera option and tire pressure monitors will be on November builds, available in December/January while the KDSS suspension will be on the January builds available February/March. That's one rumor. The other is that none of the new features will be available until Feb/Mar.
Seems silly to me that they came out with the new RX with the camera, but didn't have it ready for the GX. Surely the NAV electronics are the same and it wouldn't have taken much to do.

I just took delivery of a (Sept) build with Nav/ML no back up camera. The 9700B is for GSVW weight of 6150lbs. I am sure an after market rear camera will be on the market soon. The clever people on this forum have already figured a way to input video to the screen adding a camera should be easy.

Unless this system is brand new and can accomodate the GX I wouldn't buy it before checking. There are many systems out there to input video, but they are for older style navigiation systems.

I checked with AVElectronic and this was their response.

Yes, we have a system for the Lexus GX470.
Thanks,

This uses a new style system and I wanted to make sure.
