LED Headlight Upgrade
Has anyone recently upgraded their headlights to LED? I have read several previous discussions but am hoping for some current product recommendations that are plug and play.
Thanks!
Thanks!

There is an Fahren Termitor H11+9005 on Amazon which might be the same one you recommended. According to Amazon, it appears it will fit the GX470, and that is possibly newer model. Thanks for your reply!

I picked these up and they've been killer. Bright as all get out, with good pattern.

40,000 lumens per set!
They might be 20% of that, which is still great.

I've been very happy with the HID conversion I went with years ago, I've yet to find LED headlights that impress me as much.
This is the current comparable that I could find:

I'd go with the 4000K bulbs.

How are these newer LED bulbs handling winter conditions?
The OE halogens produce just enough heat to keep the lens clear.
My understanding is the LED produce heat at the ballast outside of the housing and ice accumulation on the lens is an issue.
If not mistaken, vehicles equipped from the factory with LED's have some type of heater in the lens or housing.
Appreciate feedback, thanks.

LED's in headlights don't generate heat on the lense sufficient to melt snow and ice. But neither did my HID's last week when I drove in a storm.
The wife's GX460 with LED headlights has headlights sprayers that help some, but it's still not great. I carry a microfibre cloth in the vehicle so you can stop and wipe it clean if need be.
