You'll have to fix it first lol. 150k is nothing for these. You keep up on the maintenance and it'll run 500k plus. If you're worried about fuel economy you purchased the wrong vehicle. Stick with the brand and get the LS430. If you want a SUV with good gas mileage, get a Highlander.

I'd add that another consideration is how many mods you have made. As you put more into mods, chance of recouping those costs gets more difficult. So my thought process is to keep improving the vehicle to shape it into what I want and consider it my project car...for life (at 60, that might not be too unrealistic!) It's not my daily driver, though for some periods, I have been forced to use it as my daily driver; but that is the exception rather than the rule. Regarding gas costs, I accidently put premium it once and thought there was a noticeable difference in smoothness (even though running regular is already very smooth), and I've never gone back. There are definitely gas stations that charge less of a premium over regular, so I do search these out when I can.
So, depending on how much you've got in to your GX, and if you can at some point have another daily driver, that might be a plan. My latest project is installing a platform in the rear. The entertainment and functional value on that? Priceless!

What is your reason for selling?
Because that number of miles is not much for a GX if the maintenance has been kept up.
If you're worried about future repairs - yeah on a 2008 you're going to start to see some things need doing because of age.

A well maintained RWD/AWD Toyota/Lexus will have some of the lowest operational costs of any vehicle.

Calculate tax, tile, and license of whatever you’re thinking of spending on the next one and I bet you’ll look at the extra few bucks you’re spending each week on gas differently. If you just want a new vehicle just to have something newer- all good, but put it in appropriate perspective.

What about adding a second vehicle, like a hybrid CT? You'll pay additional property tax and registration, but if you need something to commute to work with, and use your GX on weekends, might could work.
