If a new bumper and fender flare are ordered from Lexus, do they come prepainted? The body shop we talked to said that he had just fixed a Toyota with a prepainted bumper, so he thought the Lexus would too.

From what I was told, all of the plastic body cladding comes pre-painted.

Bumper covers do not come painted.

If you look at a part-number, if it ends in a 2 didgit suffix (-C0) that is a color code and will be painted. (or color coded if an interior piece)

Ok... I guess I'm a little confused about the difference between the bumper and bumper cover... What is the plastic piece that wraps around the whole front end of the car and houses the license plate and foglights? Is that the bumper cover?
