Climate Control Sensor
The climate control sensor seems to get very confused sometimes. Does anyone know where it is located and what it bases the temperature on? I know for example some vehicles use infrared to detect the temperature of the passengers in addition to temperature sensors elsewhere.
Sometimes even when it is 15 degrees out, the system can blow cold air out of the top vents.

I've noticed the same thing. I wonder if it somehow is tied to the same sensor group as the outside thermometer... There is a warranty replacement for that (mine just came in, but I haven't had a chance to have it installed yet). I'm going to try and have it installed later this week so I'll let you know if the replacement helps.
