Question Front, Read and 3rd Row Comfort?

Hi,

Thank you all for the advice re: the A/C and vibration issues. I would appreciate feedback on how you find the comfort in the front, middle and 3rd row seats? We will be driving to the cottage every weekend ... about a 2.5 to 4 hour trip depending on traffic.

I have a bad back so front seat comfort/controls are important. We would only need the third row when my daughters (8, 10) wish to bring up a friend.

We took our final test drive yesterday and the 2nd row seats seemed "thin". The leather is nice and soft, but are they comfortable?

Could use some advice.

Thank You.

Peter

Your description of "thin" for the 2nd row is very acurate. I am 6'0 250lbs so I am rather large and the seats are uncomfortable for me. They are not what you would expect in a Lexus. I am a first time buyer and am overall happy with the comfort of the car but I only sit in the drivers seat.

hey

well me n my brother and some of his 25 yr old frens went on a 7 hour trip... and two of his frens who were sitting on the 3rd row seats found then usefull and comfortable. they were about 5.7-8" in height.
i've attached a pic from the trip.
i usually drive and find the driver seat to be very comfortable... more comfortable then Range rover (thats what i was driving before the GX) .
i would recommend it.

Default Good seats

I like the driver and front passenger seats the second row seats need more thigh support but not to bad. I have had several friends on long trips no one said they were uncomfortable. Third row is really useful for pre teen kids.

That's really good for 6 people going on a long trip, but what if more? I doubt it.

But anyway, GX is still very confortable for six. (four adults and two teenagers)

I'm 6 feet tall, one time I tried to sit in the 3rd row seat, It was still OK but a bit tight!

well, I shouldn't be worried much, 'cause I'm the driver. haha...

I begin to get lower back pain after extensive driving (4hrs +) sessions. It might be the way I sit in the car. I tend to lean a bit on the center armrest.

Other than that I find the seats to be very comfortable. I wish there was a way where you could comfortable put a seat belt around yourself in the rear seats and still lay across/sleep. Sleeping on the seat belt fastener is not the coziest.
