Good job nice pics Im glad you got your kit installed easily. Big difference between stock and HID. Cant wait for you to drive these at night its awesome the road signs just light up like christmas trees and the reflectors on the road look like run way lights for planes.

Dave that is the initial color until the gasses break in. It usually takes at least 50 hours of burn time before the bulbs mature in their color. Mine are almost pure blue and whit now. Initially they had a slight purple tinge like yours and white but now blue and white only.

well i got mine installed within 1 hour. I hard part was finding the secure place for both ballasts (especially the driver side). I've followed Tony DIY but I can't find the up side down flip base on my vehicle. Oh well a couple of scratches but all done. Now I have to wait for darkness fall since I live in the west coast (2.5 hrs left before sunset).

Here is Safe!!
Yeah!! It also took me a while to place the ballast in the driver side.... I put it here.
It's pretty secure to put here, I think. The total installation time was about 45 mins for me.

Thanks to Tony's instruction!!
I almost have the same installation as Tony's. And about the windows were very simple to reset!
Thanks again Tony about the information. I was a bit worry that my kit might keep in purple color.
It will change within a short period, here is when I took it at night. Pretty white, don't see any purple.

so basically we have one extra wire hardness from the passenger side right? After reading Tony's posted amd DIY installations, i believe we ended up with one extra hardness from passenger side so i taped up. Btw, is it me or the reciepts on the DHL listed the HID kit at $400?

About the reciepts, yup! mine say $400 also...
It might cost Steve to get for $400 from the factory and sell to us. Not sure...
Yup!! one extra wire hardness from the passenger side!!
Fusion400, I think you also tape like this.... (See the Red Tape)!!

David,
Sweet thanks for poiting the left over hardness. So i took my baby for the evening ride, man i have to say there are a lot of heads turning. I love the output of this kit, well for now I have to settle for the burn in purple tint.
Hum~ now that I've archived the true HID output as it should for this luxury car, i wonder what is next project should be? Some rims???

Yeah!! I drove for an hour!!
Late night, I was too excited that I rode on my baby for an hour!! After I got home, I wasn't willing to get off my truck!! It's just so clear when driving in dark area.... here....
I'm also thinking to change the rims too, but since I have my truck only about two months, maybe later
