I just passed my GS in mileage with 18, 500. My GS has just under 18k.

04 GX, 5100 miles from Jan 27, 2004. no problem except some break noise. Will have the dealer to take a look later this week when having the 5000k service done.

What's the brake noise that you heard? Where did it come from?

I can usually feel the pulse at low speed braking. I brought my gx in twice for the problem for the past 4 months and always be told braking was normal and it's a big vehicle. Good thing is this time dealer finally be able to identified there is a problem during braking and is actually from the now fames driveshaft - not the brake system. Since the GX driveshaft has a nationwide backorder. I have to patiently wait in the queue for the fix ;-(.

While road testing the vehicle, I was asking about the status of vibration fix and was told: NO FIX yet. The guy told me Lexus aware of the issue that 'EVERY' single 03/04 GX has this problem. Some are just more serious while the rest are hard to be notice. On my way back, I begin notice the vibration again It is minor and I almost forgot during my daily driving. My wife can never feel it. But I do if I pay attention to it and I can tell the difference when the speed needle pointing between 1700 ~ 2000.
