How do the 6000K's compare to OEM HID's in BMW's and Audi's??? Are the 6000K's bluer or about the same????
My understanding is that the color temp is ~4100k but its the projectors that give them a POP.

Hello,

That is correct. OEM HID primarily use either Philips 4300k bulbs or Osram 4100k bulbs. The optics of the headlight is what determines the actual colour output.

Default 4300K is nice!

I just installed the 4300K H11 kit from XenonDepot. Not too blue and no trace of yellow. Very white with a hint of blue, which is exactly what I was looking for. The beam is sharply focused, and reminds me of factory Xenons from Audi, BMW, and the new Lexus RX330.

I know some Acura MDX owners who installed the XenonDepot H11 kit have seen some yellowness, but I attribute this to the Acura reflector/projector housing. The Lexus GX470 projector creates a very white (slightly blue) sharply focused beam. I have a 2003 GX and I am thrilled with the XenonDepot 4300K H11 kit! Highly recommended!

Steve,

Any specials on the H11 4300K kits going on now and are they in stock? I bought my 6000K kit from you over the summer and I'm going to need another 4300K for the new GX470 my father-in-law's picking up next week. Love your product. Thanks.

Hello,

As per your post:

1) I believe that your vehicle uses an H4 bulb. This means that your vehicle uses a single bulb for both the high and the low beam. When using an H4 HID Conversion kit you will lose your high beam functionality. This will only apply to H4, 9004, and 9007 appliations.

2) All our kits are plug+play.

Regards,

Steve
