I heard about some type of dark gray color (like the 4runner's Galactic Gray) that maybe available with the 2005 Sport Package Version of the GX. That might be an interesting color.

Either way I would still like Silver Pine with Black Chrome Badging.

After reading the officiall Lexus press release today, this gray color I had mentioned above is not available. SILVER IT IS THEN!

Someone please post pics of their Silver Pine GX470 with Black Pearl Emblems (anyone know the extra cost for these)? They give a nice contrast off the silver exterior color, however I am not sure if they are wortht it or not.

Thanks!

I just noticed with the new 2005 GX Website, that the Black Pearl Emblems are not listed anymore.

http://www.lexus.com/models/gx/accessories.html

Either way I am sure the dealer can still offer this or maybe the new GX website area is not fully updated.

Either way, I still think the contrasting Black Pearl Emblems on a Silver Pine GX, looks great! Post photos if you have any!

OH OH, the boss has spoken (aka my wife) and she is getting tired of silver and wants Black Onyx Exterior with Ivory Interior. Therefore I checked out some of the Black GX'S in the Clublexus gallery and they actually look very nice (of course they are all clean). I will now pull the trigger on a 2005 very soon.

Yeah, what's the deal? I like silver, but my "boss" is pushing for black too! Acually we like blizzard pearl, but I guess it will also depend on what's available.

I like Blizzard Pearl but I also like KDSS. I'm constantly dusting my black GX but if it was Blizzard, that dust wouldn't be visible.

My first car was a brand new black 1964 Olds 442. Neat car, but a real pain to keep clean. I am old and lazy now, so I went with the gold. Easiest color to keep clean. It is the color of dirt!! I still think that the best looking GX, by far, is black. I just never want another black car.

Look at the Lexus Brochure, the color that the featured GX is shown in is the color that Lexus thinks is the best looking for this vehicle. I know they show the vehicle in several colors in a brochure, but there is one GX that is on the front and is the biggest picture. That's the one. Now both my vehicles are "silver", they are called Titanium and Chrome. but I call them silver, and they look great and don't show dirt.

PS- I just visited the Lexus web site and looked at the GX photo gallery. The featured GX was "SILVER". What can I say
