Funny Smell from vents

Were everyone's shoes on? 
In the GX, no. But when I had a Pontiac Grand Prix a few years back, I had a similar problem. After many many, many trips to the dealership and finally a forced ride along with a tech (gotta love pontiac customer service
) they finally believed me and took a look. They found that the A/C recirculation thingy (high tech speak for the vent that allows/disallows fresh air in 
) wasn't functioning properly. It was allowing water to leak in, creating mildew/rot that produced a mild musty odor when the AC was on.
