doc,
should you sell the vehicle to another individual you may at your option transfer the remaining coverage to the new owner for a transfer fee of $50. however, should you elect not to transfer, or you trade the car or it is totalled the remainder of the coverage is cancellable and is refunded to you on a pro-rated basis. let me know if you have any other questions.

The pro-rated refund starts from day 1 of the vehicle. For example, I bought a Toyota extended warrenty which cost me $1200. Sold my car 2 years later before the factory warrenty is up and got back $800.

When I purchased our new Lexus two days ago, they offered the extended warranty at full list price and would not budge even when I showed them the lower quote from the net. I was all set to use Troy, as many of you have in this forum, but then I called Jeff at Lexus of Huntsville and saved another $100 for our 07 ES350 and 07 GX470. $3395 for 7yrs/100K $0 ded for both vehicles. Jeff was great to work with. Note: the area code listed in a thread is wrong..his correct number is 256-824-8050. I saved a lot of $$ with Jeff.

thank god I found the forum. I called Troy and he got me a 7/75k 0 deductable for half of what dealers were selling it for around here, plus they wanted to charge an extra fee for 500 buck becasues my car was 5 days out of warranty. Troy said that he would back date it at no charge.

Does anyone know the MSRP and possible discounts available for the Lexus Luxury Care Maintenance Program? The dealer quoted $4,265 for the 5-year/90,000-mile/17-service card. (I need the 5-year/75-mile/14-service plan.)
Any discounts available for the new Lexus Enform/Safety Connect 4-year extended service (first year is free), MSRP $974.00?

I forgot to mention that another place to purchase a Lexus extended warranty is from Jeff at Lexus of Huntsville, Alabama, but he is no longer there. His phone number was 256-824-8050.

My dealership in Colorado quoted me almost 2400 for the Platinum 7yr/100k mile warranty for my 2004 RX330. I called Jeff at Lexus of Huntsville (202-824-8050), and he offered the same thing for $600 less! He's fedexing me the forms to fill out and we'll do the whole thing by mail! He answered the phone on my first call, too, so I didn't have to wait for a call back. I'm super happy with Jeff with and recommend him highly!

How does the Lexus warranty work when you have an 04 GX470 with miles? I have an aftermarket warranty that is worthless unless u like aftermarket parts.

FNFZ4 - You can find what you're looking for with a quick search. There's a couple of guys / gals still out there moving extndeded Lexus warrantys at unreal prices. I forwarded a link with contact info to my pop just last year and voila he bought a platinum extended warranty on the cheap for his RX. It was a Toyota rep, but it's a Lexus warranty. Good luck!
I'm still debating getting my low mileage GX an extended warranty. The height sensors and shocks scare me, but not much else. Maybe window and door locks, but not much else really. I'm torn, but have until early Fall to decide.
