Dealer not fixing Vibration
Sad to say i have a vibration in my steering wheel and the first week the dealer had it they replaced the steering yolk and a bunch of other stuff. I got i back and the vibration was worse with a slight hum. I brought i back the next day and the next week i found out that they replcaed my 04 exhaust system with and 05 and then i got the car back again and it still had a vibration. I then called the service manager and he started to tell me that it was a truck and it will vibrate. That is when i got real mad becase i had an ML320 and had no vibration and i also had a Mercury Moutianere and that didnt have any vibration. I have not heard anything from the dealer in a week and they called me today and said they cant do anything more. So I am waiting for corprate to call me. I think i might just try to get the car made a lemon and get the ML500. I would be very happy if they can fix it but i am optomistic.

What tires do you have? I would have them swap the tires out with Michelins and test drive.

"I took my car almost 6 months back to the dealer and gave them the reference of technical bulletin "ST004-04 Steering/Driveline - Vibration/Drone" released by Lexus on Feb 04 for this problem. Dealer was not aware of that. He ordered the parts (dampers) and installed those in a couple of day. 95% of the problem went away. I still feel slight vibartion at the speed of 60mph but I am used to that now. Good Luck!"
Have they performed this fix on your GX?
Here is a very good description on the Prado 120 (same mechnicals as the GX.

Good luck!! Make sure they swap tires and test drive, and make sure they do the TSB as stated above.
My GX is still new with no issues. My 4Runner had a vibration that went away after I fitted new tires, it now developed a slightly different vibration again, which feels more like the one everybody talks about. It is very minimal though adn seem to have disappeared again.

My GX never vibrates at any speed
Dont let the dealership tell you its normal for a SUV to vibrate. My GX is solid from 0 to 100 mph and I have the crappy Dunlops. I had an 03 Acura MDX that did the same thing yours did and after 10 times back to the dealership they told me that all SUVs vibrate, so I sold it and got the GX.
On the MDX I tried new tires, alignments, new rims, new steering units but nothing worked so I dumped it.
Anyhow I think you must have a defective vehicle.
