Just curious on what the people think about the rear spoiler on the GX. My personal opinion is that it looks awkard when viewed from the side.

of keeping the window clean. Helps rain & dirt to run off, not down the window. My wife's Sienna lacks such a spoiler and the rear window is almost always dirty.

i think spoiler looks alot better then no spoiler.. i mean there's a reason its around $500 option. its functional and think looks pretty good. posting a pic from the rear side.. i think it looks good.

For me it was a must have item. When I had my 05 Magnum RT, the rear window and liftgate would be filthy after a 15 minute ride on the highway. Forget about it if it was raining out. The rear wiper had a hard time trying to keep the rear window usable. Now there's a car that needs a rearview camera. Even with the navigation, they don't offer a rearview camera.

Around here I don't think they get any in without the spoiler. I was shocked to actually see an older one sitting on the dealer lot without the spoiler last week.
Originally I didn't want it, and was actually thinking of seeing if the order could be modified (mine was coming in from Japan, and the spoiler is added at the dock according to the window sticker). Now I guess I'm glad I left it - it is part of what makes the GX. I hadn't realized the practical implications for the back window, so I guess I am doubly glad.

The spoiler is a must have to complete your GX. I had a 4Runner without the spoiler and I was in envy. Was behind a GX without the spoiler yesterday and I don't like the look at all.
The exhaust tip cover is also a must.

I have a friend with an 04 and it looks like it is missing something without the spoiler, side by side it just looks a little funny on the back without it, not to mention helping keep the window cleaner!

Spoiler is a must have, and if you by chance ever see a GX or RX without a roof rack you'll laugh because the thing looks like it's bald. Saw one once and thought, why would you ever not get the roof rack.
