Please tell/give me your feedback/personal exprience on this Synthetic oil and why did you choose this oil over other brands, plz. Thx.

Well why not? It's recommended by a lot of car manufacturers, and they use them in a lot of supercars like Mercedes AMG, Cadillac V-Series, etc.

M1 Delvac 5w40, M1 0w40, and Rotella T synthetic 5w40. I've tried M1 10w30 (walmart) but stopped when I figured out it dragged my fuel economy down by 5-10% in both cars I tested it on. BTW, the M1 at Walmart is ACEA-1 approved (GM/Chrysler), while the M1 0w40 (not sold at Walmart) is ACEA-3 approved. The latter is approved for BMW/Benz. I use this and M1 Delvac 5w40 in my sports car...fuel economy is better. In my older toyota truck, I use the Rotella T syn (not a true synthetic, as the basestock is a group III while M1 is a group IV/V) since it's performs well and is cheaper (this also got better fuel economy than the walmart M1 I used). M1 delvac is used by commercial trucking fleets, only sold in 1 gallon or larger (pail/drum) sizes. It has more detergents to cleanse engine varnish (from using dino).

This is an opinion. I really want to know that it protects better. Any hard facts?

I'm using Amsoil 0W30. So far it has provided the best mpg over any other oil I have used. I have used it in over 10 different cars with great results. I usually go about 15000-20000 between oil changes. I think you will be hard pressed to find a better lubricant, however it is probably one of the more expensive out there as well. Good luck!

0W30 eh? isn't that just like water? haha I would also advise you to atleast get an oil change every 5 thousand miles to prevent your motor from getting sludged up. 10000-20000 is just too much no matter what the oil people say.

But anywho at my dealership we use Valveline Synthetic and also have Royal Purple as an option.

Hey Josh! Nope not like water. The 0W30 is amazing, personally I consider it the best oil on the market. It is designed purposefully for severe conditions (racing) and oil drain intervals for 35000 miles. Forget the myths and urban legends about oils. Most of it is BUNK. I BREAK IN ALL of my engines from Day 1 with synthetics. Yes, from day one. I have fantastic results.

I also do my own maintenance and do not trust the Lexus /Toyota dealerships. They can't get anything right around here.

As far as sludged up, I think you are referring to the pretoleum products causing sludge on Toyotas. If you are running a high quality synthetic oil and changing your oil filter regularly, this will NEVER be a problem. Changing at 5K miles will ofcourse never hurt anything, but why do it if it is not needed? Change your filter at 5K, that's the crucial part.
