Need Advice:Buying an '06 GX470
I have been mulling over this deal for about a week now. A dealer is willing to sell me a Lexus Certified Pre-Owned (with extended warranty) black '06 GX470 fully loaded (nav, rear dvd, etc.) for $38000 with 17000 miles on it.
After much haggling, I was able to get him to bring down his asking price of roughly $44,500, but who knows, he could just be pulling this number out of his butt, right? I need you GX470 experts to give me the real scoop...Am I getting a good deal on this or is he taking me to school?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks!

Well...the dealer backed out on the offer guys...oh well...better luck next time...thanks for the advice though...
What would be a decent price tag for this car right now just to use it as a point of reference when I'm bargaining with other dealers?

Lol...maybe he did maybe he didn't
But no worries, I understand the nature of the business...
But I am in a bit of a pickle as I am debating between two vehicles right now.

Just bought my Lexus
The sun really does shine brighter when you are a lexus owner! I love my 2004 lexus GX 470. was talking about getting vehicle for 30,500 before main manager said they could not sale vehicle for less than 31,500 due to vehicle already being sold to wholeseller who was coming to pick up vehicle. It does help to know the owner of dealership as they gave me more than 1000 dollars more than my camry was worth in order to do the deal!
