Lift is done!!
Finally done guys! Did the rear yesterday and the front today...I'm POOPED... It's not that dramatic of appearence, but once you get in it's WAY higher! I can totally look into people's vehicles
The specs are Cornfed 1.5" Spacers (front)
PurpleHaze rear lift (adjustable from 1.5"-2.5") vehicle will not overide
BFG AT KO 265-65-18
Many Thanks to Jason Burtman for having prototype spacers made for the GX.
Please contact him through http://www.burtmanindustries.com/index.php if interested. He can get anywhere from 1"-2.5"
Dion of Pinky's Automotive in Los Angeles, CA.
He helped out figuring out the rear.
So as i know most are wondering how the rear was done. As of right now there are brackets that I made to trick the rear. Now that i know exactly what works and what doesn't on the current brackets, i'm already on the prowl to make better brackets. (the current ones were just to see if it would work...IT WORKS!!)
the rear will be fully adjustable on the new brackets that i'm working on. It will be able to go from 1.5"-2.5")
I went with 1.5" front lift because I was worried about the clearence on the electronic dampening controllers on top of the shocks. I believe you will be able to go up to 2.5" of front lift safely with the stock upper A-arms.
So with the 1.5" front lift, approx 2" rear lift, and the 1" i gained from tires. I gained quite a bit of ground clearence!
So this is day one and so far all is good, the GX rides a bit firmer with more air in the rear bags, but i guess that's ok since the spacers in front create a bit more tension too.
I'll post any new changes in the next few days as I put the new suspension setup to the test on the streets as well as offroad too.
all i had was my camera phone but i will get better pics asap!

for comparison
Stock 265-60-18 tires on 18" Limited wheels
265-65-18 on Limited 18" wheels (notice how much more these fill the wheel well)

That looks awesome Dan! A nice subtle lift to give it a better stance - but not so high as to look redneckish. Just right IMO. Let us know how you like those tires, I wanted those same exact AT KO tires but my Ltd wheels already came with practically new Bridgestone Duelers in the same 265/65-18 size so I figure I should get my money's worth and keep them for awhile.

Sport models have smoked headlights, foglights, reverse lights, black wood inside, graphite grey roof rack and wheels... I think that's it
