I recently had my Lexus in for service and here's how it went:

I contacted the service rep who then went out of town and forgot to call me. I finally got an appointment scheduled but it was delayed because loaner cars are usually booked up 5 - 7 days in advance.

I went in for the "clunk repair" service on the scheduled day; everything went fine and the truck was ready in one day

However, three weeks later the truck started acting funny on the highway; so I called my service rep and after a few calls his way, he got back to me. We then set an appointment a few weeks off. Truck became a bear to drive and I scheduled an emergency appointment; of course no loaners available on this day.

I took the truck in and they made good on their mess; a stripped horizontal suspension bolt. But here's the way I look at; if you screw up a job you need to get the person in before Mrs. Smith's oil change. Especially when the conversation went: the truck feels very unstable at speed on the road...

My other car's are serviced by independent shops and if it weren't for the warranty I would never go to a dealer...

Nalley Lexus in Atlanta is very reputable. My girl gets her GX470 serviced and always has loaners and respectable bills. They are soso I guess.
