Trust me I have let it go...the two post by me were about 10 mins apart yesterday and I was just not pleased by some passerby coming into our board and giving such negative opinions.

You can search my previous comments on this board and anyone here can tell you that I have nothing but positive and informative things to contribute. I know a lot about the GX and I try to share my knowledge whenever I can.

I went on a small rant yesterday and today is a new day!

I very much appreciate your comments and tone and I would like to officially say, I love your GX and welcome to the board!

Sounds good, so could you please explain me why window visor would provide better cooling than tilting up sunroof.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I don't like tilting my sunroof because my seats get cooked from the rays.

You can tilt the sunroof and only keep the sunshade open about 2". That's all it needs to circulate the air. Those window visor things give any vehicle a 50's look. Especially when they are in chrome.

If you tilt up (not slide it open) sunroof, sun can not physically shine on the seats.

Im assuming you mean with the shade closed? What's the point then?

If you mean with closed shade then I could see the point. But with sunroof removing 100% UV and been dark, I've never had an issue of sun from the sunroof heating up the seats. From windshield, yes always, but not sunroof.

You could tilt up sunroof, and have shade closed 3/4 of the way, which would eliminate most of the sun, but keep airflow open.

I am just trying to understand benefits of something what will increase air drug and potentially damage the car.

How about opening the rear pop-out windows to allow the air to cirulate? I know that this will not work in the rain, but it might help on really hot days.

You can crack the side window to vent the car with or without the window visors. They are only plastic and offer no protection at all from someone breaking in.

One gripe I have about the GX is the rear pop out windows should have been power operated.

That's my gripe too. My old 1998 Sienna had power operated rear side windows and I used them all the time. I haven't a clue as to why the GX doesn't have this feature.

Don't get me started about that one. I even went so far as to price out adding the LX switches and motors, but it was going to be about a grand, so I did not do it. I can't believe they missed that one.

Other than the fact that nobody can tell the windows are actually cracked.
