Very nice pictures. I'll have to go take that drive to Mt. Evans one of these days...Is Mt. Evans taller than Mt. Haleakala in Maui?

Mt. Haleakala elevation is 10,023 feet. Mt. Evans elevation is 14,264 feet and the paved road gets you to 14,130 feet.

Oh, one more thing, I think that the Japanese engineers didn't foresee this car traveling above 13,000 feet, because the build in altimeter tops out at that number. At the top of Mt. Evens it was still showing 13,000 even.

You're lucky that moose didn't decide to get closer and eat the tires off your GX! Some of them grow to be huge and they don't take any prisoners when they get annoyed....like when someone tries to spy on them with binoculars!
