aftermarket overhead rear DVD player
http://www.qualitymobilevideo.com/11...-player-1.aspx
I am looking at installing this flip-down DVD player in the back, I currently have just the overhead door light piece there. Any ideas if I buy the unit and then get a $149-$199 install card from WalMart or BestBuy and take this DVD in to the shop -- will it be an easy process?
Never done an aftermarket overhead DVD player before, so any tips or suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks

I wouldnt advise you get anything installed at Walmart or Bestbuy OR Circut City. They're all not good. They cant even install a autostart right for a Rav-4 haha. Just spend a little more and go to one of those car audio places. Your money will be worth spending there instead. Just try to bargin with them.

someone told me that you have to have a support bar inside so it can handle the weight of the dvd player. i rather buy an alpine overhead and have it installed professionally than going to circuit city or walmart..thats my opinion.

I am wondering if the installcard.com loactions are the same type of car audio/video shops that would charge me a lot more if I go directly to them. Plus I have no idea what place will do quality work.
Anyone know a good way to find an aftermarket installer? I don't mind paying a bit more, but I don't want to just blindly pick a place. I am in the Chantilly VA area (DC metro).
