Default smooth ride?

i let the fuel get down to a 15 mile range and let me tell you how smooth the truck drove. like new. been having problems with the bottoming out. i am going to try and raise the normal position to higher to simulate the empty fuel tank ride. just cant seem to find the height control sensor on the drivers side.

That is really weird because I have the opposite effect. When I fill up, my ride is the smoothest. Whatever the case, the amount of fuel definitely affects the ride.

nope. had those replaced. same ride. it all started when the driveshaft was replaced. yes the ride is really good when tank is full and the ride is at its best when really empty. sick of this p.o.s.

A little off topic but how can you raise the height of the truck and keep it higher while driving. I raise the truck and it automatically lowers at appx. 15 mph. Do I raise it than turn off height control to keep it up? I think the problem with the previous post is when they replaced the driveshaft and/or links they tightened the bolts while still in the air. Common problem at the dealerships. It needs to be loosened and then re-tightened on the ground.

i loosened and retorqued the control arms after cycling the suspension. nothing. should the driveshaft be loosened and retorqued on the ground? i dont see why though.
