My review of Non Oem rotors+pads from ebay
I decided to contribute my experience to Club Lexus community.
Since we had so many discussion in the past about NON-OEM rotors and brake pads. I decided to write my own review. Please keep in mind this is my own opinion and I am not trying to promote anybody business. Before I replaced my brakes I had OEM rotors and Brakes.
1) Before I replaced my rotors I experienced slight wheel vibration while I am driving
2) Before I replaced my rotors I had really hard vibration after apply my brakes.
3) My brakes were really week before, and they rusted pretty bad. I live in CA and we dont get any snow.
4) They were very dusty.
My friend rcommended the guy from ebay. His user name: topbrakes_net. In November I decided to order new set of brakes from him. So I ordered 4 rotors +front and rear brake pads. Price was $269 free shipping+sales tax. I got my new set in 5 business days. They came marked left and right, front and rear. So I took my new set to:
5206 Hollywood Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90027
Neighborhood: Hollywood
(323) 661-8473
Ask for John (read their reviews on yelp)
They installed my new set +painted my rusty calipers in shiny black+lubricate my old rusty bolts. After they finished John personally took my car for test drive he said everything is fine. When I drove my car back home WOW WOW WOW!!!!!! what a difference.
After 2 month and 500 miles here is my reviews
1) No vibration whats so ever, very smooth, very responsive, no dust, zinc platted. And yes I have 22's wheels and my brakes looks great.
Here is link from ebay.
Good luck,
Eugene

I believe that. I always buy aftermarket drilled rotors for all of my cars. The quality is getting there. I used to get them of Ebay, now, I use a local guy. After 2-3 years of driving I usually replace them. Just installed drilled rotor and brake package on my wifes GX. $210 great value. Paid $180 for my GS rotors and brakes two month ago, after the old ones got warped (2 years of spirited driving and breaking). Some of that stuff lasts long too. Had Ebay stuff on my wifes previous SUV, RX300 for over 5 years, no issues. Although, I will admit, 6-7 years ago, I did run in to a fair share of bad quality rotors that would warp after the first 1000 km.

Bought 2 front drilled/slotted rotors off ebay for $100 delivered. Havn't installed yet but the quality seems great. i have to say, Our GX rotors are very heavy- Must have been 50 lbs for both rotors.

I found that drilled and slotted rotors warp faster and make more noise than just drilled ones. Now I use only drilled rotors. I didn't notice much of a performance diference between the two, but they look very cool
