Last week I went in for an oil change 67K and was informed that my water pump was going bad. Took it in for the repair today and they called me an hour later and said we can change your timing belt now for the price of the belt or you can come back in 23K miles and we can charge you for the labor too. Grand total for the water pump and timing belt + tax $522....about half of what the Lexus dealership 75 miles away wanted.

I took them up on it, no tensioner. Now I just need to remember to have it changed out again at 160k instead if 180k. I have the same dealership do my LOF too. The service manager even advised me to purchase my synthetic oil elsewhere (since they can't compete pricewise) and they just charge for the filter and labor. I save about $20 each service now.
