Need help asap.......air suspension related
Ok so I have a leak on my Lexus, the car raises up normal my suspension work good but I hear the air leaking and the ride feels like crap.
Is there anywhere where I can get a diagram for the air ride system to see where all the air hoses go through.
I went under the car and I have a rough area where it is but if I could get a diagram it would be easier for me to see the hose I'm talking about and if possible would need part numbers along with the list.
Someone please help me out I would really appreciate it.
Thanks

I found out what the problem was, it was the rear passenger side air bag(pneumatic cylinder) assy.
Its shot where can i get one, the dealer charging me $470 kinda steep just for one bag if u ask me.
Someone please help me out.
Oh yeah in Toronto, i prefer local.
Thanks.

When i start it it fills up fine then when the air compressor stops i hear the leak bad, then when theres no more preassure the leak stops but it is at the lowest seating position maybe 1" to bump stop maybe less and bumpy as hell so i just dont drive it i dont want to damage anything.

In another thread, someone had indicated they'd had a non-Lexus mechanic adjust the ride height sensor to ride higher than normal in each setting; in theory, that should get part of the problem fixed. Took mine in today and they found a pinhole in the "airbag" itself and replaced both of them under warranty. Still seems to ride like crap unless I cycle the ride height to the top setting, then let it adjust downward as I drive over 20mph.

It looks like every dealer has the same "song" pin hole in airbags, in radiators etc.
The main thing is they didn't fix your suspension problem by replacing the bags.
I belive leak in the airbag will let the suspension down all the way to bump stop, otherwise what would be holding it an inch away from the stop?
Ones in a while in the morning, I also have to cycle the height to get the normal ride feeling but I did inspect the air bags and they both look fine (2003 all original).
Search for air compressor solenoid valve, I believe that is where most of the problems and repairs are.

believe it or not i just bought the GX470 about a month ago pre-owned, and after a month the ride was horribel there was nothing they could do for me because they said it was an "as is" purchase but im not complaining but you may want to check these guys out its still kinda a pricey but was definitely cheaper than the dealer and was original parts.
