Does anybody knows how to reduce the wind noise?
Hey guys, I need to travel 20 miles every morning to work.
And on the high way, I always feel the wind noise is too loud!!!
Anyone else feel so too?
Is there any product especially for reducing wind noise?

This is my comment from about a week ago, on the same subject.
Do you have cross rails on the roof rack. They need to be in a specific position, to minimize wind noise. I almost never ride with the sun shade open on the sun roof. That is a couple db's. I have an 08 with 60k miles. I very rarely turn on my radio, because I like how quiet it is.
I routinely put my fingers in the top "V" weatherstripping around the door, to open it up and use vinyl dressing (sometimes Armoral) on all of the weatherstripping. Top, bottom, sides, on all (5) doors. Don't forget to open the rear two opening side windows, to do that weather stipping.
Sometimes I use the thicker stuff and leave it on there. Be carefull not to get it on your good clothes, getting in and out.
I will notice wind noise at 80 mph, GX has aerodynamics of a large brick at that speed, or if it is pretty gusty. I always blip, the up buttons of the power windows, on all 4 windows. Sometimes getting in an out with the car running, I might accidentially hit the power window button.

Another thing to check are the black moldings along the back edge of the front door windows - these can come loose and contribute to wind noise at higher speeds, gently try to pry them back from the tops, with your fingertips, to see if they are loose. There is a TSIB on this problem. If your GX has this problem let me know and I'll send more info.

To Ancient, mine dont have the cross rail.
I Also close the sun shade all the time.
Is there any product that you recommend for weather stipping?
To Bob
I just had a 80mph run to see where the noise is coming from.
I'm pretty 50% is from the side windows, maybe because of mirror is just too big.
And 40% is from the tire. ( I think it shoul blame the 20" I put on)
And the other is 10% is from the engine.
I will try to get a sound volume meter to make sure my estimate is right.
For a 8 year car, I think the black molding should be loose, can I just go ahead and replaced it?
Thanks guys.

The TSIB calls out new trim pieces, but they are basically held in place by a double side adhesive tape. My 2004 had this problem - I used some 3M double side tape to fix the original trim myself since my warranty was up.

It's the thin metal trim piece - on the door, behind the window - that comes loose - not the rubber molding in the window channel. At higher speeds when the wind hits it just wrong, it vibrates. The risk with leaving it loose (other than wind noise) is that it could get bent or torn off, leaving an ugly defect. At least that's what I worried about. It's just something to check & rule out or fix if you're chasing a noise issue.

I found most of the wind noise comes from the reflection mirror.

i finally figured out where my wind noise is coming from - it's the main muffler (resonator) rattling against heatshiled i think but i can replicate the noise now with pushing on the muffler... gonna get that fixed with next oil change
