I'm assuming the heated seat worked and it just wasn't illuminated. That's the way mine is, just the drivers one

Can't seem to use my fingers to pry the heated switch from console. Would a Moulding removal tool be easier? If so, I am game for purchasing one.
Thanks,

Yes you could use a trim tool. If youre careful, you can try a very thin flat blade screwdriver (jewelers) with the head tapped over so you dont mar or scratch the plastic.

heated seat switch
Hey thanks for the tip.
I managed to remove the switch with my fingertips, this afternoon. Must have been tired yesterday.
Orderd the bulb from my Lexus dealer today. It should be in Monday.
Thanks again,
Planetruth

Excellent DIY. The pictures made it so easy to follow. Thank you very much.
The backlight of the side view mirror adjuster switch and the dash board dimmer switch are also out. Would you have the part numbers for those? I am assuming the LEDs for those too can be replaced? Thanks

Following Tightlinez instructions, I've only slightly improved upon his fix. Here's a link to my thread on how to repair your light for $1.

Seat heater lamp
This is exactly how its done although I used the Radio Shack item #272-1092 for 1.99, simple process and works great

To the OP, I hope you get this because this posting is pretty old. I tired your method with the OTHER side switch (the left one) and I was, surprisingly, able to just pull it out with my fingers. However, I could only pull it out as far as the bottom of the black switch part. I could not pull it out until I saw the harness like you showed in your excellent series of pictures. I didn't want to pull too hard and break something, but I pulled pretty hard. Do you have any suggestions on how I can get the switch fully out so I can access the harness to be able to separate the two, please? Is there something different about the left hand side switch than the right? Any help would be very much appreciated. That burned out bulb is really bothering me and it seems like such a simple fix! Thanks very much!

I replaced the bulb in the left hand switch two weeks ago. Yes, the switch pulls out with your fingers, but in my vehicle the switch did not pull all the way out. I had to push the clip (as shown in the OP's photos with the red arrows) to release the switch from the wiring harness. When you push the clip, the switch will release and the harness will drop down into the abyss. After switching out the bulb, you need to fish out the harness using a bent paper clip or something along those lines.
