A Trail Ready GX!
If this is a re-post I apologize, but I came across this build article that I thought was an amazing albeit mild transformation for the GX to show its' true off-road potential. There is also some useful techincal information for anyone that is looking to follow a similar patch.
Enjoy...

IMHO, I much prefer the second GX to the first. I just can't get my head around removing all the body panels, etc. just to drive the Rubicon--whatever. The second GX is much more conservative and more to my liking.
Since we have a 1997 Tacoma 4x4 for off-roading/trail driving, I seriously doubt I will be modding our GX for that purpose.

I didn't see an answer but did you go with the LT (E) or did you stick with P-Metric tires? I would have went with those Toyo's, however, they didn't have an XL or C tire and I wasn't sure about an E tire on this vehicle given they were 12lbs heavier than the Rubitrek's XL's that I ordered.
