GX 470 Named Four Wheeler Magazine's "2003 Four Wheeler of the Year"

November 8, 2002 - Miami, FL - The all-new Lexus GX 470 luxury utility vehicle was named the "2003 Four Wheeler of the Year" by the editors of Four Wheeler Magazine. Announced at the South Florida International Auto Show today, this prestigious honor has been awarded every year since 1974. The competition is fierce - the V8-powered, 235-horsepower GX bested seven other four-wheel-drive vehicles to win the title.

The GX seats eight passengers and combines the appointments and workmanship of a Lexus sedan with innovative full-time four-wheel drive and off-road management systems as well as an arsenal of dynamic handling technologies.
