Almost finished with the Hydrographics...
Got sick of the woodgrain so decided to change it up a little. We pulled out all of it and played around with a few combos. First tried matching the light tan base then dip it carbon fiber. once it was in, just looked a little busy. Decided on matching the body color and dipping in carbon fiber. Could not be happier! The steering wheel is going to be a little tricky so once things slow down and we can work on our own stuff, we'll get it knocked out.

Pole Position
I don't know that I would have gone CF with the tan interior, it would look killer in a grey interior (boy do I wish ours had the grey interior...), but there's no denying the results are of very high quality. How does this material hold up to use on touch surfaces like the steering wheel and shift ****?

Not BAD, but not my thing. I would agree with IanB2 that it would look better with grey interior like mine. Tan interior gives out more of a luxury vibe, and carbon fiber is the polar opposite (sporty). To me, it doesn't feel like it belongs in a luxury type SUV. Maybe it would grow on me if I saw it in person on a grey interior GX. Please don't get offended

I gotcha. The great thing about it is that in 6 months, I can change it to something else if I want. It is as durable as the paint on the body. I'm not worried one bit about the steering wheel or shift ****. Now of course, a wedding ring or something like that could scratch it, but like I said...its as tough as the paint on the body. We did a bunch of suspension and engine parts on some local top fuel dragsters last year. Saw the parts about a week ago and they look as good as the day they were delivered. I was most impressed with the engine parts. Didn't really know what to expect from them.
