I need help,is someone here did the oil pan replacement pls tell how you did it.i called lexus dealer for the price and they want $600 parts and labor.my oil pan stripped,planning to do it my self pls help

Are you saying that your drain plug is stripped ? If so that may be able to have the threads be re-tapped.

Oil pan is simple.

Drain oil.
Take off nuts that hold oil pan in place.
Tap off oil pan with rubber mallet
put in new oil pan with new gasket
tighten nuts.
refill oil

Now, notice I did not say easy, I said simple. The biggest issue I see with these oil pan nuts is that they are on small bolts and they are rusty. Which means if you snap them, you will have a bad day.
