Not the timing belt. I cant find anything on the drive/serpentine belt. I am getting a noise when the load of the ac gets turned on. Sounds like metal on metal.Independent shop said its a lot of labor. If anyone knows anything or has any experience, I would really appreciate it!

I've replaced the drive belt tensioner twice. Once during a timing belt changed which was very recently(nothing wrong with it just did it preemptively). The first time I changed it(changed it at around 150K miles) was when my car was making screeching sound when cranking up the car. One the car was running, sound disappeared.

Correct, I was charged about 3hrs of labor at an independent shop cause a lot of parts have to be dissembled and reassembled to replace the part.
