Just a bit of digging... This is what had been done to my trans 3k miles ago. I'm ***, but does it show the type of fluid on the pic and was it the right type? It looks like 13 quarts have been replaced. Does that mean the whole fluid was replaced?
Maybe the shop didn't get the level set properly? It's a bit of a tricky process the 1st time, and some shops might not realize how sensitive the transmissions are to fluid level, worth checking before draining anything IMO so you can know before proceeding.

Not good news
I've just had the trans fluid changed(drain&fill), but the vibration still persists. I was told that the fluid was not bad and the level was good. The only thing was not good was a rubber seal. Part of it was out(bent), not sealed properly. It was the seal on some kind of a rectangular shape pan, inside there was a round seal around a kind of hole.
Anyways, the mechanic who did the fluid change told me that he believed that it was a bad torque converter causing the 'rumble strip' sensation. Can that be true?
If yes, it must be a very expensive job to replace the torque converter? He also told me that in order to replace that part, the transmission needs to be taken off and it is good to replace the transmission as well at that time. I didn't understand why regarding the transmission replacement part as I don't even know how they both connect(converter+trans). I'm not good in mechanics.
It's theoretically possible a bad torque converter could damage an internal part on the transmission, but I'd want proof. Is this at the dealer, or a Toyota/Lexus specialist, or a general mechanic, or a 4x4 shop?
If you do get a new torque converter, ask to get the rear main seal replaced while they're in there. Cheap part, but the labor to get to it otherwise is steep.
Usually on older vehicles, you want to do a drain and fill 3-4 times. Some people like to do it, every other oil change, some people like to do it, every week until you reach your 4th fluid drain and fill.
I have a 2007 GX. Never changed the transmission or differential oil. The car drives just fine. What's the reason people are changing these fluids? What would be the incentive for me to change mine?

The 2003 had a transmission dip-stick so you could check levels and there was a service interval. For 2004 and later, the dip-stick was removed and Lexus said the fluid was "good for the life of the vehicle"
So.. same transmission using the same fluid. But a year later it supposedly lasts forever?

It's a general car shop. Not specialized on Toyota/Lexus. But the best shop I could find so far. knock on the wood...They use OEM parts only.
Do you guys know what exactly does a shudder fix liquid do? I've heard that people add the liquid and the vibration disappears. But does that just 'mask' the vibration or does more than that?

Forgot to update:
1) Drain and fill did not help.
2) Transmission flush did not help.
3) Was hesitating, but will do a flush one more time and will add a Shudder Fixx product this time. I really want to get rid of this. And as 1 and 2 solutions did not work for me, this is my last "cheap" option.
I would suggest to do a drain and fill first ( 4 times with 2 weeks interval between each drain&fill). This are all 3 options that helped others. I've researched a lot.

I had a full fluid swap done on mine by a transmission specialist (5+ litres renewed) 2 months ago with the anti-judder product. It worked at first, but slowly the juddering has returned

What anti-judder did you use? Everyone with a GX470 or 4Runner advised me this and nothing else:
