Default Help With Brake Pads and Rotors

Hello all, need to replace the front brakes and rotors on our '03 GX. It's my wife's car, and she pretty much drives like a maniac, so need good stopping power. For pads, I've heard really good things about the Akebono ceramics; just wondering if anyone knows if there is a practical difference between the ACT ProAct and ASP performance pads. As for rotors, I'm looking at the Centric coated ones. Would consider slotted rotors, but have heard that they wear out the pads quickly and warp more easily. Would appreciate any suggestions/experience you all have had with front brakes for the little beast. TIA.

Mine had low-grade (Chinesium?) slotted rotors on it when I bought it. They were one of the first things I changed since they had warped. The OEM solid rotors have been fine since (but I don't drive like I'm on a track)

I have heard good things about the Akebono pads. I think you'll be fine with either.
