Factory Blutooth
I just bought a 2004 GX 470. The vehicle has a Nav system and I was told the vehicle had phone bluetooth capabilities. From what I can tell this is not the case. The vehicle appears to have voice control for the Nav system but no phone wireless capabilities.
Have I been led astray?

I kind of got that figured out.
Fortunately there is a Bluetooth add on module to the satellite radio system I am having installed next week and it isn't really too expensive....I guess I should have done a better job checking it out. On the bright side the vehicle is in really super shape with great maintenance records and I really like it..

I think 2007 was the first year that had Bluetooth.
Yeah, that "voice control" system is garbage.

I got this to stream music from my phone to the factory sound system thru the AUX plug because our '08 has bluetooth phone capabilities but cannot play music thru bluetooth like our '18. I believe this device also has phone call capabilities.

Unfortunately I did not have an Aux port.
I want to thank everyone for the comments.
I solved the problem. I had a Sirius radio system with a Bluetooth module add on installed today. It works surprisingly well. However there is a bit of a learning curve.
