So I am in need of replacing my rear suspension. It is bouncing all over the place. My question is this, other than the ability to use the height control, are there any other reasons I shouldn't convert to coil springs? I do tow a 20' boat during the summer months and was curious as to the ride quality while towing with coil springs vs air bags. I look forward to your suggestions and advice.

Properly spec'd springs will tow just fine.

Steel springs will have sag from the extra weight, but as long as they were specced according to the weight rating, they'll be fine.
The advantage of air bags is that they don't sag, and you can lower the height to make hooking up easier.
