Default Brake pad replacement

Just curious if someone can post a PDF of the Toyota manual for a front brake job replacement for the GX470. I would like to not have to pay the fee for a couple day access. I did a quick search and couldn't find anything. Thanks.

Its the same as any car with fixed calipers and theres nothing special about this job. There are a bunch of DIYs on this site but one thing to note is be prepared for one or more of the pistons in your front calipers to be stuck and for you to need to replace or rebuild the caliper.

Just take a few pictures before you disassemble and then make it look like the pictures! Take your time and keep track of how it all fits together.

Heres the basics: Remove cotter pins, remove wires and clips, remove main pins, remove pads, remove hardware, compress piston, replace hardware, and insert new lubed pads with wires on, put main pins back, reuse or replace remaining wires and put in cotter pins. Done and done.
