Has anyone experienced front wheel vibration ONLY when going down a hill/steep grade? My 2008 GX shimmies when I apply the brake while descending a steep grade AND does not have the same shimmying when I apply the brake on level ground. I have had the brakes replaced and installed OEM ceramic pads. Haven't found anything on this website alluding to this issue.

Possibly LCA bushings that are worn out or something?
When you say it "shimmies", is this felt in the steering wheel, the brake pedal, whole truck, what's happening exactly? How have you narrowed it down to the front end?

Mine had a violent shaking during down hill de-acceleration. Scary and felt like the whole front end was going to fall off! It turned out to be the front PTO shaft u-joint and a loose right outer tie rod end. This created the down hill shake.
