Heated Seat Stuck "On"
Hi all,
New owner of a 2004 GX470 here and am loving it so far!
And as I am diagnosing all issues, I found that the driver-side heated seat is stuck on the "on" setting even when the slider is in the "off" position. This would happen every time I turned the car on, unfortunately. So as a temporary fix, I went into the engine bay fuse box and removed the fuse pin that connects to the heated seats.
However, I would obviously like to use this feature during the winter months (especially my partner, who co-pilots and gets cold easily) and am wondering if anyone has encountered the same issue? If so, what was your solution? Just looking for some suggestions to see if this is something I can fix myself before I take it to my mechanic.
Looking forward to be a part of this forum. Thanks so much!

If you confirm it's the switch, replacements are about $100, and you'll want to put a fresh bulb in there instead of transferring the old one.
