Default Best Interior Trim Color

Hello all, we are considering a new GX. For ease of care, ease to keep clean, longevity, and keeping cool what color interior do you recommend? We are considering Ecru, Sepia, or black. Please share your thoughts. Also, how do you like the nuluxe?

I have Ecru but I wouldn’t say it is easy to care. I chose it because I think if properly cared it looks new for a long time, but it probably takes a lot more care than darker colors. Black is easy to care to me.

I do not have nuluxe partly because I do not know how to take care of it.

with the cooled seats, (and remote start), I've never noticed my black interior being too hot, and it's definitely easy to keep clean. don't know about the nuluxe. but, without cooled seats and remote start, yeah, black can get pretty toasty.

I have a 22 with Ecru and the seats look like they did when I picked up my GX from the dealer in Dec. 2021. The heated seats work good but the cool air is a joke compared to other Lexus vehicles I have had in the past. I have had vehicles in the past with dark interiors and they are hot in the summer until your AC has run for a while. The Nuluxe is easier to keep looking new than the leather interiors I have had on past Lexus models. I had originally wanted the Sepia but the dealer found a Premium with Ecru for me that I jumped on due to the availability of GX's at the time of my purchase. I am glad I made the switch.

Do you recommend the ecru more than black or sepia? How is the drive and ride quality overall and how is the seat comfort?

Yes. The Ecru will go with any body color and really makes the cabin feel larger. Took a 3K mile trip last November and the ride quality and seat comfort was the best of any automobile I have owned. The adaptive cruise control makes interstate travel a pleasure. My trip was to NW Colarado and I spent several hundred miles of interstate and state highways covered in snow. The GX performed flawlessly. My body color is Atomic Silver and the Ecru is just outstanding with this shade. Just makes the GX more luxurious IMHO.

I think I have sepia, which is a nice gray/brown that blends nicely with mud and dirt. I'm happy with it.
