While it is a bit early things go wrong. You can get a good quality aftermarket LCA for like $100-$150 or just get a new ball joint (possibly new bushings) and just press it in and out, not difficult at all. Since in theory you need an alignment after the job is done you might as well replace both sides.
However, the contamination on the rack's rubber boot does not look like power steering fluid to me at all. Why not just clean it up throw some flour or baby powder on it and see where it's coming from exactly.

Dead serious. Used one brand (Delphi for example) on both German and Japanese vehicles we own, would use it to replace the Lexus LCA any time. There's also Bilstein listed as aftermarket, one of the highest quality suspension part manufacturer.
Never said the OP should not go OEM, just offered alternative(s). I had zero intention to start some OEM vs. aftermarket war here.
As I mentioned, I prefer pressing in and out the bushings and the ball joint only, I have not checked the parts store if they are available separately or Toyota sells the complete LCA only (the brands I came across only sell the complete unit).

Agree that Bilstein makes top-notch products ... but their LCA's are invariably private label ... so who knows who actually makes them ... probably MOOG.
Toyota LCA's are $480-odd ... $325-odd from discount dealerships. Given the labor (or effort) consideration ... my vote would be to go OEM.

From the picture it looks like the rubber boot is torn which means it needs to be replaced.

i am trying to get the part number 43345-69025 to replace the boot only, but i don't understand why they told me need to replace the whole arm because the ball joint not sold separately, maybe just money hungry
