Any other tips or tricks or must haves? Thinking tinting the windows will be one of the first things we do.
Sorry for the crappy pictures.

Nice!

I posted my phone mount a few months ago, in a thread where others did, as well. Have a look.

Any chance of providing a link to that thread?
Thanks

Bergy24: Congrats on your new GX, you will not be disappointed!
As far as the tinting goes, I had a black '16 GX that I had the front door windows tinted to about 25%. It looked awesome. However, at night when making a left had turn, it really restricted my vison. Because of that, I have since only tinted the front door windows 50%. I'm in northern Ohio most of the year, Florida for winter. Depending on your location in PA. you're weather may be similar to ours. i.e. short days, a lot of cloud cover in fall, winter and early spring. If I were in the south most of the time, I definitely would go a lot darker on the tint. I'm going to have my '23 fronts tinted as well, and will check into something between the 50% and 25% that I had on my '16.

FWIW, regarding the all weather mats (and carpet mats) I have multiple "new" sets in the original plastic bags, as I always use Weathertech mats, from head to toe.
After you have yours for a while, I may come back to you for tips using the new infotainment system! Good luck with your new GX, you're now a member of the cult following!

As for connecting 2 phones, yes you can .. I have 2 phones connected to my 2018 GX ( iPhone 13 Pro Max for calls/txts and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra for music ) Every now and then the Galaxy won't reconnect automatically and the music starts to play from the iPhone. But, that's about it.

Definitely tint it! I just had my front windshield tinted and it made a huge difference ( am sensitive to bright Sun and the glare from oncoming lights at night ) in terms of driving and interior temp ( gets really hot here in Texas )

Might be too soon for this, but consider ditching the secondary air injection pump (SAIP) down the road for a better system. I replaced mine with a K&N attachment.
not sure what we’re doing wrong, but it keeps telling us to delete the other paired device before we add another. It will not allow us to connect 2 phones for some reason. Are we missing something?

It shouldn't want to delete the first one, but disconnect from it to pair with the second device. If you're wanting to deploy both devices for phone calls/txts ( have the system ring the device that receives the call ) I doubt that's plausible. I've never tried it, but I wonder if you go into the BT settings and tap on the phone option ( the only other option is music.. unless they changed it in the '22/'23 models ) for both devices and see if it takes ( I doubt it will.. AFAIK, you can have 2 devices connected, but only 1 as a phone and the other for audio/music )

Not even sure what BT profiles the GX is equipped with..

I think we figured it out last night. I'll report back if we still have issues.

Use this link to learn how to pair phones and all the other things that your GX has. It is a deep dive tutorial for the 22 -23 GX.
