Default Front turn light housing jiggle or move slightly

Recently I wash my GX by myself for the first time. When I clean up the front turn light on the driver side, I noticed that it seems like to be loose. I can press and move the turn light housing up and down a little bit. The other side(passenger side) seems to be tight, or very little movement. Consider the car relatively new( a few months), is this the typical quality I got from Lexus or Toyota, or some common problem on the GX460 turn light housing?

I think this is just a GX thing - both of the turn signals on my 2014 do this too.

My '23 GX and my wife's '22 X5 are the same. The front end of both are just snapped together plastic pieces.

They all do this. I dampened mine by removing both and adding some foam around the outer edge and reinserting them. I think it's in my owners log....

Thanks. Maybe just using the insulation foam can and inject them from gap on the front will also work. I just tighten the 10mm screw a little bit, looks better than it used to be now. Still move but seems okay.

I think their engineer are just lazy to fix these small things. It wouldn't drop anyway, just feel cheap.

I would not use an insulating foam spray can on this. the engineers probably don't get any complaints on it so they're not gonna fix it. I only noticed it because I detail our gx often and was hunting for a faint noise i was hearing.

My 22 does the same thing, it seems like it’s loose. When I go in for my first service I’ll have the dealer take a look at it.
