"Hub Repair" ... that would be the wheel bearing which you said was replaced earlier. CV joint ? ... not much else to eliminate.

They are saying the hub is independent of the wheel bearings? What is going on? I think I need to get legal advice. We've dumped 10k on this. Basically, the value of the car. Thanks for the comments.

canlook up the part diagram at lexus south atlanta parts website.
yes they are separate. although ive replaced others using aftermarkets and they came all together as one.

Credit issued & repaired at no charge
After a lengthy email Lexus is fixing the hub repair quoted at $1300 and issuing a $1000 credit. What a mess. We'll see if it can be repaired. I've never experienced anything like this and appreciate your feedback.
