Hi all

Car in front of me kicked up a scrap of tire on the highway and punched a hole in my grille.

I have the replacement and am wondering how to replace the grille without removing the entire bumper.

It's a 2022 premium model so it has front cameras and the headlight washers (don't know if that even matters but thought I'd mention it.)

Everything on the internet deals with how to change from the previous generation grille to current (pre 2024) and they show the entire bumper being removed.

Someone else will chime in with more definitive info, but I am nearly positive you'll be pulling the entire bumper off to replace that grill... I think when i looked into replacing my 19 grill with the 20+ style the grill was attached from the back... you could look at the parts sheet and shee what side the tabs are on to confirm..

I'm in a similar situation, last part coming in next week.

As of the research I've done, I will remove the bumper and then do the grill replacement.

Seems fairly easy to remove teh bumper.

Pulling the entire bumper isn't difficult at all. Maybe 2/10 honestly. Just make sure you clean the bumper well before removing, and have a nice soft blanket to set it on. Also use painters tape on the fenders where the bumper attaches so you don't worry about scratching the paint. Not sure why people are scared of removing the bumper, it's honestly easy.

I saw that video; The difference is he has a 2019 which is the old style grille; I have a 2022 so I'm wondering if 2020 thru 2023 doesn't need a full bumper removal

This thread lumps everything into the 2010 to 2023 category even though there are differences (screen interface and new grille) from 2020 on

^The grills are interchangeable. You will go through a lot more trouble leaving the bumper on imho. Just pull it.
