2019 GX 460 Luxury Sepia Leather Durability
Hey Folks, admittedly, I am a newbie.
I am purchasing a 2019 GX 460 Luxury with Sepia Leather. Does anyone have any experience with the Sepia leather on this year or any other year?
How does it hold up under 100k miles + and does the luxury leather vary by year in terms of color and wear? I like the color but it is lighter than the black, grey and Rioja red so I'm concerned about wear and durability.
Thanks!
Appreciate any and all feedback

My wife convinced me to get Ecru (even lighter than Sepia) in her 2023, but its Nu-Lux and not leather. Not sure how long it will last, but I think regular cleaning and conditioning helps and keeping the car out of the sun and heat also make a big difference. If its not garaged, put a cover on it like Beyonce'

All I can say is that the Ercu Leather interior of our 19 Premium is not wearing well on our drivers seat. its bad enough where I was considering taking it to the dealer for a warranty claim. Anyone else having issues with the Ercu? ours is getting a little rip on the side bolster and we only have 30k miles.

I have a 2015 Premium with the Sepia leather interior and it has held up very well on the drivers seat after 120k miles. I wouldn't hesitate to get it again. Conversely, my wife's Ecru interior on her RX did not hold up well and I wouldn't get it again.

Two grades of leather with “Luxury” being semi-aniline on the ‘19 with regular leather & Nuluxe on other trim levels

Q. Do they still make them with a true black leather interior? I sort and search for it but it seems that all those I find are a grey.
This is from mine with 162k on it.

I believe from reports I have come across on the leather version side that the semi-aniline holds up better. Not comparing to Nuluxe
I have black semi-aniline in my '12 and looks great but I'm still at 84k miles and vehicle is garaged 90% of the time
Semi Aniline in "US" market was standard on these:
'10-’13 Premium
10-’13 Base with “Comfort Plus Package”
‘14-'23 Luxury
Black semi-aniline has been available from '10-'23 if you can find one of the trims above
If you want to look at '10-'23 brochures just change the year on URL

My son's '16 Prem just turned 100K, and the standard leather trim ecru still looks and even smells great. My '21 and '23 both have Nuluxe, and will last forever...just don't have that leather scent.

Mine with the black must be the semi-analine, the build sheet shows it as leather but I’ll need to look at the window sticker to be sure. Best leather I’ve had in all of my vehicles with the exception of the King Ranch F250 I had with the baseball glove leather.

This makes me wonder if I should start a warranty claim... maybe we got a bad seat cover...?

It helps if you treat the leather with something like bic #4.
Storage conditions and environment also matter.
It also matters how wide your *** is, how much your wife weighs, and how nasty your kids are.
But treating your leather will help the most. Go on Amazon and get a small bottle of Bic #4. It’s what they use on saddlery. It also looks like jizz. But it will go a long way. The key ingredient is an oil created from boiled horse hooves. Not kidding. But it works great.

I should treat hers, have never done that in any of our cars & have had leather for 25 years or so.
My kids are decent about the cars bec I’ve had them help me keep them clean since they were old enough to hold a vacuum or hose. Her light color is just terrible though.
